C-10 Canal Gate
DESIGN FEATURES:
Rodney Hunt’s line of canal gates, most specifically the C-10, is one of most popular products in both Agricultural and Wastewater applications. This gate is designed for use on canal and pipeline systems which operate at low seating “heads” and where a moderately priced gate is required. These are typically used for farm turnouts, control of industrial wastes, drainage, and tide control.C-10 Canal Gates are constructed from grey iron with an all-bolted steel frame with a minimum of ¼” thickness. The stem is made of special leaded steel to resist corrosion. They are available in sizes from 6” to 72” wide. Special options and materials are available
C-20 Canal Gate
DESIGN FEATURES:
Rodney Hunt’s C-20 Canal Gate is made to fit the need for a pressure cut-off where either moderate seating or low unseating pressures are encountered. Typical uses include installation in treatment plants, flood control projects, irrigation canals and diversion stands. Flatback gates for headwall mounting or spigot back models for attaching to corrugated metal pipe are available.
The cover, frame ring, adjustable wedges, arch, and handwheel are made of cast iron, with a bronze seat option for wastewater applications. The lift nut is cast bronze and utilizes rugged acme type threads. The steel stem is secured to the cover by an easily removable pin to permit removing for maintenance. This feature also allows the user to stock standard frame length gates and provide field installation of rising stem extensions, where this is desirable.
Aluminum Canal Gate AC-31
DESIGN FEATURES:
The Rodney Hunt Model AC-31 is an aluminum canal gate. It is a superbly engineered gate expressly suitable for corrosion-resistant, rust resistant demands. It is of rugged, heavy duty construction, yet lightweight and easy to install. The aluminum gate eliminates electrolysis usually found in cast iron gate to aluminum pipe connections.
This gate has minimal leakage, due to a tight closure.
This gate features a tapered slide, which provides wedge-type seating and low friction opening. The AC-31 also has a neoprene J-bulb seal, which provides a virtually leak-proof closure.
AF-41 Aluminum Drainage Flap Gate
DESIGN FEATURES:
Rodney Hunt’s AF-41 is an aluminum drainage (flap) gate. It is a corrosion-resistant rust-proof automatic drainage gate designed for use with aluminum corrugated pipe, for flange mounting, or for use with HDPE. This gate prevents electrolysis commonly associated with cast iron gates to aluminum pipe connections. J-bulb neoprene adjustable seats provide excellent sealing against return flow. The AF-41 uses double pivot hinge arms for best seating.
PF-25 Cast Iron Flap Valve
DESIGN FEATURES:
Rodney Hunt’s PF-25 is a cast iron flap gate. It can be furnished in two styles to fit most installation needs. The PF-25 is available in sizes 4 inches to 14 inches in diameter. Applications include pump discharge. The popular compression mounting style uses time-proven Wedge-Lock seals and fits standard ASA pipe sizes as well as SDR-35. The PF-25 Pump Flap Valve is also available with a flanged frame drilled for 125# standard mounting. Brass seats are optional.
AFC-331 Aluminum Combination Gate Valve
